Goodhart Hall
Among the most visually stunning examples of W.S. Cumby's workmanship is the restoration of Bryn Mawr College's Goodhart Hall. This early-20th-century structure, now restored to its original beauty, stands proudly at the center of this beautiful suburban Philadelphia campus. The historic preservation of this magnificent Gothic building involved the restoration of the building's entire exterior envelope while keeping it open for public use. Work included replacement of thousands of individual stones, handcarved replications of broken and missing finials, removal and restoration of leaded glass windows and the restoration of the building's handcrafted ornamental wrought iron fixtures.
