W.S. Cumby provided Construction Management services for the complete restoration and expansion of the former Elm Club, originally built in 1901.
The 21,400 SF, sustainably designed, community and education center includes a new 7,700 SF addition that provides a welcoming lobby with exhibition space and a multi-use hall for large events as well as a kitchen and restrooms.
The totally restored three-story building now houses seminar and meetingrooms, a library and administrative offices for the Fields Center, and student programs on the first two floors. The third floor is dedicated to Community House, a student organization that provides educationalenrichment programs for low-income and minority youth in Princeton.
