After experiencing several setbacks in the planning of its largest capital project, Mullica Hill Friends School turned to W.S. Cumby to provide logistical planning, budgeting and cost control services for their new academic building. Services provided during the preconstruction phase resulted in a 15% cost savings over the original budget thus exceeding the school's goal to minimize their capital expenditure without sacrificing program.

The new, 24,000 SF facility includes a campus library, classrooms, meeting and administrative space and seven acoustically isolated practice rooms for the musical arts program. With construction occuring over the course of the academic year, W.S. Cumby's site specific logistics plan

ensured the safety of the students and staff with minimal disruption to the school's on-going operations.
