With the goal of improving the aesthetics and efficiency of its annual commencement ceremony, Penn engaged W.S. Cumby to manage both the planning process and the project. The resulting success has solidified our long-term relationship with the University and accounted for the awarding of a contract to provide on-going services for the School's small projects group.

After eight months of intense planning and coordination, Philadelphia's Franklin Field was transformed from a 20,000 seat stadium into an intimate setting for Penn's graduation exercises. The project scope included a custom fabricated, free-standing steel stage structure, seating platforms, custom scrims, AV systems and stadium banners - all of which were erected and dismantled in just six days
