Capital Health System's commitment to providing the highest quality healthcare service is reflected in the construction of their newest wellness center. The goal of the project team was to provide patients with a sense of comfort by introducing warm and inviting materials to a typically sterile medical environment.

The team worked together to construct this 45,000 SF multi-use ambulatory facility that features same-day surgery in one of its four operating rooms and advanced radiology units including diagnostic x-ray, ultrasound, mammography and bone densitometry. The center also contains a lab, offices for primary care physicians and specialists, conference space for outreach and support programs, healing gardens and a bistro.
