W.S. Cumby is a proud member of the Greater Philadelphia Green Business Program. Endorsed by The Pennsylvania Environmental Council and the PenJerDel Council, the Greater Philadelphia Green Business Program was made for businesses, and created by business leaders. Members publicly promise to change their daily business practices to reduce impacts on the environment. If implemented properly, Green Business practices reduce energy consumption, water use, waste generation and greenhouse gas emissions.
At the center of the program is a checklist of green operational practices where members are ranked according to the number of items their company has implemented. Many of the green operational practices have already been incorporated into our daily routine at W.S. Cumby and we currently have a Gold rating. Please take a look at our Green Business Commitment Checklist to see what practices we have implemented. Check back often as we are constantly making improvements within our organization to reduce our impacts on the environment.
