Dansko is a vibrant example of the power of for-profit businesses to effect social change and to take responsible and meaningful measures to reduce our negative impact on the planet. The building is an expression of Dansko’s commitment to move toward full sustainability in all of its business practices and products. Dansko's dedication to environmental stewardship is apparent in its implementation of the following innovative practices: on-site township-wide recycling program, purchase of renewable wind-powered energy for 100% of the building’s electricity, green housekeeping and green education developed for public-retail.

W.S. Cumby provided construction management services for a major expansion of Dansko’s office and retail facility. Many green building and sustainable design features are incorporated in the new 82,000 SF, multi-use office and retail space, including: displacement heating and cooling via under floor distribution, vegetated roofing, solar domestic hot water, light shelves, solar shades, and heat mirror glazing.This project has a goal of being awarded a LEED-NC Gold Certification
