The integrated Millville team focused on green strategies to create a building which is not only community oriented but also ecologically responsible and energy efficient. The project is registered LEED-NC v.2.2, has a goal of being awarded a LEED Silver certification and meets the requirements of Energy Star and the New Jersey Affordable Green programs.

The end result is a 72,000 SF, 75-unit senior housing facility located on a redeveloped brownfield site. This project includes green design and construction strategies, including: a super efficient building envelope using insulated concrete forms; low flow water saving fixtures; recycled and low VOC emitting materials; 30% more energy efficient than a traditional senior housing facility and 93% construction waste recycling.
